Booking Policy

At Be Envied Beauty Co, we operate by appointment only, and your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. We have great respect for our clients' and artists' time. As a small business, last-minute cancellations and no-shows result in lost income, scheduling disruptions, and greatly impact our ability to serve others. We kindly ask you to follow our policies and terms of service, as these apply to any and all services offered at Be Envied Beauty Co. They are not subject to exceptions.

valid card is required to book all appointments and will be securely kept on file. To reserve your appointment, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is charged immediately and applied toward your total service cost. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment and can be paid using the card on file or an alternate payment method at check-in. By booking, you agree to these terms and authorize Be Envied Beauty Co to charge your card according to our cancellation and no-show policies.

Cancellations & Rescheduling Policy

Permanent Makeup, Cosmetic Tattoo, Paramedical Tattoo & Traditional Tattoo Services

  • Require 72 hours’ notice (3 business days) for any cancellations or rescheduling.

Same-Day Booking Policy

Appointments booked on the same day as the scheduled service come with a 1-hour cancellation/modification window.

  • You have 1 hour from the time of booking to cancel or reschedule without penalty.
  • After that 1-hour grace period, standard cancellation and no-show policies apply. This means:
    • Your deposit will be forfeited, and
    • You may be charged up to 100% of the booked service total, at the discretion of Be Envied Beauty Co, based on the time, preparation, and materials allocated for your appointment.

Late Cancellations, No-Shows & Deposits

  • Cancellations made outside of the required notice window will result in the forfeiture of your deposit and will be charged 100% of the scheduled service total.
  • No-shows will automatically be charged the full service price and will be required to prepay future appointments in full at the time of booking.
  • If you cancel or reschedule with less than the required notice, you will forfeit your original booking deposit and an additional non-refundable deposit will be required to rebook. This deposit will be applied to your service total unless policy terms are violated again.

*If two appointments are missed, canceled, or rescheduledfull payment will be required upfront to secure any future bookings.

*In the event a booking fee is refunded (at the discretion of Be Envied Beauty Co), a 3.75% credit card processing fee will be deducted from the refunded amount. This policy applies to all appointments and services without exception.

Late Arrival Policy

Out of respect for everyone’s time and schedules, Be Envied Beauty Co enforces a strict no-tolerance policy for late arrivals.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show, and your deposit will be forfeited.

  • If your appointment was complimentary, it will no longer remain complimentary, and standard service fees will apply for rescheduling.
  • An additional non-refundable deposit will be required to book a new appointment.
  • In certain cases, your service may be shortened or rescheduled or canceled at our discretion, but the full service fee may still apply.

Punctuality ensures we can deliver the high-quality, personalized experience you deserve. Thank you for understanding.

Refund Policy

All services are non-refundable. We take pride in our work and your satisfaction is important to us. If you have any concerns, please contact us within 72 hours of your appointment for a complimentary touch-up or adjustment if appropriate.

By booking with Be Envied Beauty Co, you acknowledge and agree to these policies.

Dispute & Chargeback Policy

By booking a service with Be Envied Beauty Co, you agree to the following:

  • All payments are final and non-refundable, including booking fees, deposits, and completed services.
  • You understand and agree that results vary by individual and pigment retention is not guaranteed, particularly in cases involving pre-existing conditions, lifestyle factors, or failure to follow pre-/post-care guidelines.
  • Filing a false or fraudulent chargeback after receiving services constitutes a breach of contract and theft of services.

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated:

  • $35 processing fee will be added to the outstanding balance.
  • The client will be responsible for all associated fees, including but not limited to bank fees, legal fees, third-party collection fees, and any applicable court costs incurred by Be Envied Beauty Co to recover the balance due.
  • Any dispute that results in a reversal of payment for services rendered will be pursued to the fullest extent allowed under Minnesota law.

By completing your booking, you acknowledge and accept this policy in full.

Permanent Makeup Eligibility & Contraindications

At Be Envied Beauty Co, your health and safety are non-negotiable. Before booking any permanent makeup or paramedical tattoo service, please review the following medical and skin-related contraindications. These conditions may make you ineligible for treatment or require a physician’s clearance prior to booking.

While permanent makeup can be an incredible solution for enhancing natural features, it is not suitable for everyone. Please review the following contraindications carefully to determine if you are an eligible candidate. These guidelines apply to all PMU procedures, including: Microblading, Powder Brows, Combo Brows, Lip Blush, and other cosmetic tattoo services performed at Be Envied Beauty Co.

By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understand all health and safety guidelines
  • You do not have any contraindications listed below (general or service-specific)
  • If you arrive at your appointment with a contraindication not previously disclosed, you will forfeit your deposit and be charged the full price of the service

Photos & Service Eligibility

You may be asked to submit clear photos of the area you wish to have treated. This is to assess skin condition, prior work, and overall candidacy. Refusal to provide photos may result in denial of service. We reserve the right to decline service to anyone at our sole discretion if we believe the treatment may not be appropriate or safe.

Pre & Post-Care

Clients are required to thoroughly read all pre-care and post-care instructions before booking. Following these guidelines is crucial for optimal healing and results.

Important Note on Healed Results

Healed results cannot be guaranteed. While every effort is made to ensure quality and long-lasting work, a small percentage of individuals may not retain pigment as expected due to skin type, lifestyle, aftercare, or health factors. This is outside of our control, and by booking, you acknowledge and accept this possibility.

Ineligible Without Exception

If any of the following apply to you, you are not eligible for permanent makeup services:

  • Under 18 years old – We cannot perform services on minors, even with parental consent.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding – Hormonal changes increase risk of infection and impact pigment retention.
  • Pacemaker or major heart conditions – We use numbing agents (containing epinephrine) that may affect heart rate.
  • Viral infections or compromised immune system – Including but not limited to HIV, Hepatitis, etc.
  • Lupus or autoimmune disorders – Elevated risk of infection and poor healing.
  • Organ transplant recipients – Increased risk of complications and infection.
  • Skin conditions on or near the treatment area – Including eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, rashes, or open wounds.
  • Allergy to pigments or metals – PMU involves tattoo-grade pigments that may contain trace metals.
  • Prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring – Any skin trauma, including PMU, may trigger abnormal scar tissue.
  • Accutane usage in the past 12 months – Accutane compromises skin healing and immune response.
  • Recent surgeries or trauma near the treatment site.
  • Poor blood clotting or wound healing issues.
  • Actively ill with cold, flu, or other infections.
  • Epilepsy or seizure disorders.
  • Uncontrolled diabetes or serious heart conditions.

Eligible With Doctor Clearance

The following conditions may be eligible with a written doctor’s note provided prior to booking:

  • Chemotherapy (current or recent) – Must be cleared by your oncologist before booking.
  • Diabetes (Type I or II) – Must be stable and well-controlled.
  • Thyroid conditions – May impact pigment longevity and retention.
  • Glaucoma – May increase risk of irritation or infection (especially for eyeliner services).
  • High blood pressure – Must be stable. Excessive bleeding may dilute pigment and affect healed results.
  • Any condition monitored by a physician – Please consult your provider and obtain written clearance before booking.

Eligible on a Case-by-Case Basis

Some clients may be considered eligible after evaluation or with modifications to the procedure:

  • Previous eyebrow tattoo or PMU – Must be light enough for new work to be performed. Send clear, makeup-free photos to: support@beenviedbeautyco.com for assessment prior to booking.
  • Allergy to lidocaine or epinephrine – PMU may still be performed without numbing agents, at your discretion and risk tolerance.
  • Oily or combination skin – Microblading may not yield ideal results. Powder or combo brows are often recommended. Final decision will be made by your artist at your consultation.
  • Cold sore history (lip blush) – You must obtain an antiviral prescription from your physician, NOT over the counter, and begin taking it at least 48 hours before your appointment to prevent an outbreak.
  • Darker lips or those prone to hyperpigmentation (lip blush) – May require custom pigment strategy or be ineligible. Please email clear photos of your bare lips for evaluation.
  • Sun-damaged skin – Can result in poor pigment retention and unpredictable healing.

Service-Specific Contraindications

Brow Services (Microblading, Powder, Ombre, Combo)

  • Extremely oily or porous skin (may affect pigment retention)
  • Psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, or acne in brow area
  • Recent Botox or filler in forehead/brow area (within 2 weeks)
  • Previous saturated or scarred brow tattoos (must be evaluated)

Lip Blush Services

  • Cold sores/herpes (you must take antiviral meds 2–3 days before/after)
  • Lip filler within 3–4 weeks of appointment
  • Chapped, sunburned, or peeling lips
  • Smoking (may lead to slower healing or poor retention)
  • Lip hyperpigmentation (requires special evaluation)

Paramedical Tattooing (Areola, Scar, Scalp Micro-Pigmentation, Camouflage, etc.)

  • Scar must be fully healed (12–18 months old)
  • No raised/keloid scars
  • Area must be free from redness, irritation, or sensitivity
  • Fitzpatrick 4–6 skin may be at risk of hyper/hypopigmentation (case-by-case)
  • Requires realistic expectations and may involve multiple sessions

Eyeliner & Lash Enhancement Policies

Due to the delicate nature of the eye area, extra precautions are necessary for eyeliner and lash enhancement procedures. The following contraindications and pre-care guidance are strictly enforced for your safety and the success of your results.

Service-Specific Contraindications

You may not be eligible for eyeliner PMU if any of the following apply:

  • Glaucoma or any serious eye conditions (consult your ophthalmologist)
  • Recent LASIK or eye surgery (must wait at least 6 months)
  • Chronic dry eyes, excessive tearing, or high sensitivity in the eye area
  • Blepharitis, styes, or any ongoing eye infections
  • Contact lenses (must be removed for the procedure)
  • Eyelash extensions must be removed at least one week prior to any eyeliner procedure and remain off until the area is fully healed following your final touch-up appointment.

Reminder

If you are actively wearing eyelash extensions or fail to remove them 1 week prior to your appointment, your procedure may be refused at check-in. In that case, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be charged the full price of the service as booked.

Lash Serum Use & PMU – What You Need to Know

The timeframe for being off lash growth serums before and after eyeliner PMU varies, but the general rule is: the longer, the safer.

Before PMU

  • Standard lash serums: Discontinue use for at least 4–6 weeks before your appointment.
  • Prescription-strength (e.g., Latisse): Discontinue for up to 3 months.
  • Long-term users (6+ months): Wait 2–3 months for full effects to wear off.

Why wait?

Lash serums, especially those with prostaglandin analogs, increase vascularity and fragility of the eyelid skin. This can cause:

  • Excessive bleeding or bruising during tattooing
  • Risk of pigment migration
  • Heightened sensitivity or discomfort

After PMU

  • Wait until fully healed before resuming lash serum (typically 2–4 weeks).
  • For best results, wait until after your touch-up and its healing period—around 6 weeks total.

Why is this important?

  • Promotes optimal healing and pigment retention.
  • Reduces risk of inflammation, irritation, or uneven color.
  • Helps prevent infection and long-term complications.

Reminder

If you are actively using lash serums and do not discontinue prior to your appointment, your procedure may be refused at check-in. In that case, your deposit will be forfeited and you will be charged the full price of the service as booked.

Right to Refuse Service

Be Envied Beauty Co reserves the right to refuse service at any time, for any reason related to client health, safety, or our professional discretion.

Touch-Up Policy

Permanent makeup is a multi-step process, and touch-ups are essential for refining shape, depth, and color once the skin has healed. The following policy outlines the standard timeline and terms for touch-up services at Be Envied Beauty Co.

Touch-Up Timeframes

A touch-up appointment should be scheduled within the following timeframes to qualify for touch-up pricing:

Note: Appointments booked after the allowed window will be subject to annual refresher or full-service rates.

Included vs. Additional Touch-Ups

  • Your initial touch-up (within the specified timeframe) may be offered at a discounted touch-up rate or included based on your service package.
  • Additional sessions beyond your first touch-up (due to pigment loss, color shifts, or personal preference) will be priced accordingly.
  • Touch-ups are not guaranteed to be needed, but are highly recommended to perfect and maintain your results.

Missed or Late Touch-Ups

  • If you miss your touch-up window, or do not reschedule within the required timeframe, you forfeit the discounted touch-up pricing.
  • If your skin does not retain pigment well, you may require additional sessions at your own expense.

Complimentary Consultation Policy

A separate consultation appointment is not required prior to booking your initial permanent makeup procedure. However, if you are unsure whether you’re a good candidate or have any questions about your eligibility, we strongly recommend scheduling a complimentary consultation prior to booking your service.

If you choose not to book a consultation in advance and arrive to your appointment unable to proceed due to contraindications, prior cosmetic work, or failure to follow pre-care requirements, your appointment will be treated as a consultation, and a non-refundable consult fee of $50 will be charged.

This policy helps protect appointment time and ensures you are fully informed before your service begins.

No Guest Policy

At Be Envied Beauty Co, we strive to provide a calm, focused, and professional environment for every client. To maintain this standard and ensure the highest quality of service, we kindly ask that you arrive to your appointment alone.

This policy is firm and non-negotiable, and applies to all guests—including spouses, partners, friends, children, and pets.

If you’re traveling with someone or have a driver, there are plenty of nearby coffee shops, restaurants, and lounges where they can comfortably wait while you enjoy your appointment.

A Note on Pets & Service Animals:

  • Pets are not permitted in the studio under any circumstances.
  • Certified service animals are welcome, but please note they may not remain in the procedure room and cannot be left unattended in the lobby during your service.

Violation of this policy will result in your appointment being canceled and a cancellation fee applied, as outlined in our booking terms.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful and professional experience for everyone.

Existing Cosmetic Tattoo Policy

At Be Envied Beauty Co, we are highly selective when working over existing cosmetic tattoos, especially those performed by another artist. To maintain the integrity of our work and ensure the best results, all previous tattooing must be evaluated and approved before booking.

If you have had any prior permanent makeup on your brows, eyeliner, or lips, or scars, stretch marks, scalp, areola, etc., please email clear, makeup-free photos of the area to:  support@beenviedbeautyco.com

Allow 1–3 business days for us to assess your photos and determine whether you’re a candidate for correction, refresh, or full rework. Depending on what we see, a correction or removal may be required prior to scheduling a new procedure. This will be treated as a separate appointment and service fee.

Appointments Without Pre-Approval

If you book an appointment without receiving prior approval for previous work:

  • Your appointment will be automatically canceled.
  • Your deposit will be forfeited.
  • non-refundable cancellation fee of $250 will be charged. This fee does not apply toward any future services.

Please understand that this policy is in place to protect your skin, manage expectations, and ensure our signature results. No exceptions will be made.

Gratuities Policy

At Be Envied Beauty Co, we are deeply grateful for your trust and support. While gratuities are never expected, they are always appreciated and serve as a thoughtful way to recognize your artist’s time, skill, and care.

If you choose to leave a tip, we accept gratuities in the following forms:

  • Cash (preferred)
  • Venmo or other direct digital payment (if arranged with your artist)

Please note: Gratuities cannot be added to credit/debit card transactions at this time.

Thank you for valuing the artistry and attention we pour into every service. Your loyalty and referrals mean the world to us.

Touch-Ups & Expectations

  • Additional sessions may be required to achieve your desired results and are not included in your initial service price.
  • Proper healing depends heavily on how well you follow our Pre-Appointment Guidelines and Aftercare Instructions.
  • Factors like excessive bleeding, skin sensitivity, sun exposure, skincare products, and health conditions can impact healed results.

Excessive bleeding during your appointment can dilute or expel pigment, resulting in patchy or faded areas. Please carefully review and follow all provided instructions to ensure the best possible outcome.

Studio Policies

  • Be Envied Beauty Co reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.
  • Pricing is subject to change at any time without prior notice.

Lash Extensions: Policies & Procedures

At Be Envied Beauty Co, your lash health and experience are our top priorities. Please review the following policies before booking your lash extension appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To ensure smooth scheduling for all clients:

  • We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any lash extension appointment (including fills).
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in a forfeited deposit and may be subject to a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service.
  • No-shows will automatically be charged the full cost of the service and will need to prepay in full for any future bookings.
  • Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in a shortened service or cancellation, at our discretion.

Lash Extension Contraindications

While lash extensions are safe for most clients, there are circumstances where they may not be suitable. If you experience any of the following, please contact us prior to booking:

  • Active eye infections (conjunctivitis/pink eye, styes, blepharitis, etc.)
  • Recent eye surgery or LASIK (within 6 months)
  • Severe seasonal or contact allergies affecting the eye area
  • Chronic dry eye or excessive tearing
  • Skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, or dermatitis around the eyes
  • Known sensitivity or allergic reactions to cyanoacrylate (the adhesive used in lash extensions)
  • Use of growth serums (e.g., Latisse) can increase eye sensitivity
  • Trichotillomania or chronic eye rubbing

If you are unsure whether you’re a good candidate, we recommend booking a complimentary consultation. If you arrive for your appointment with any of the above and we are unable to proceed, a consultation fee of $25 will be charged.

Lash Prep & Aftercare Expectations

To ensure the best retention and results, please:

Before Your Appointment:

  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free lashes and lids.
  • Avoid oily skincare or lash serums 24 hours before.
  • Remove contact lenses before your appointment, if possible.

After Your Appointment:

  • Avoid water, steam, and oil-based products for the first 24–48 hours.
  • Do not rub, pick, or pull your extensions.
  • Brush lashes daily with a clean spoolie.
  • Use oil-free cleansers around the eyes.
  • Schedule your fills every 2–3 weeks for best results.

Additional Notes

  • Lash fills beyond 21 days or with less than 40% of lashes remaining will be considered a full set.
  • Be Envied Beauty Co reserves the right to refuse service if proper pre-care is not followed or if a client presents a risk to their lash health or safety.

General Policies & Procedures

These policies apply to all services offered at Be Envied Beauty Co outside of permanent makeup and lash extensions—including but not limited to teeth gems, body contouring, vacuum therapy, LightStim red light therapy, and wellness services.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

To respect your time and ours:

Deposits & Payments

Teeth Gem Application

  • You must be 18 or older to receive this service.
  • Teeth must be clean, free of dental work on the gem area, and cavity-free.
  • This is a cosmetic service only and not performed by a dental professional.
  • Gems are temporary and may last from several weeks to months depending on lifestyle and care.
  • Be Envied Beauty Co is not liable for any gem loss or damage to existing dental work or natural teeth.
  • Contraindications: Active dental work, untreated cavities, gum disease, or loose teeth. Consult your dentist if unsure.

Body Contouring, Cavitation, & Vacuum Therapy

  • Not suitable for individuals who are:
    • Pregnant or breastfeeding
    • Diagnosed with liver or kidney disorders
    • Have metal implants or pacemakers
    • Actively undergoing cancer treatment
    • Have uncontrolled diabetes or heart conditions
  • Please stay hydrated before and after sessions.
  • Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and heavy meals at least 2 hours before and after.
  • Results vary based on body type, consistency, and lifestyle habits.
  • minimum of 6–8 sessions is typically recommended for best results.
  • Missed sessions may reduce your overall effectiveness.

LightStim Red Light Therapy

  • Safe for most individuals, but not recommended for those with:
    • Photosensitive skin disorders
    • Use of photosensitizing medications (Accutane, certain antibiotics)
    • Active skin cancer or open wounds in treatment area
  • Must arrive free of makeup, lotions, and SPF on the area being treated.
  • Best results achieved with consistent sessions (2–3x/week initially).
  • Can be purchased as individual sessions or in discounted packages/memberships.

General Studio Policies

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including safety concerns, undisclosed health conditions, or noncompliance with studio policies.
  • Please arrive alone unless medically required to bring a companion (see full Guest Policy).
  • We ask all clients to disclose any health conditions, medications, or recent procedures before booking.
  • For your safety and optimal results, you are expected to follow all pre-care and post-care instructions provided.
